NEWS THIRD CIRCULAR Dear Colleagues,As we are getting close to the realization of the 12th Latin American Conference on Physical Organic Chemistry (CLAFQO-12), to be held in Foz do Iguaçu, PR, Brazil, from April 7 - 12, 2013, (new website www.clafqo12.com) we have some important announcements to make: 1) The deadline for the submission of abstracts was extended to January 22nd, 2013; 2) The deadline for the registration was extended, Early Bird: Up to February 05th, 2013 and Standard: After February 05th. 3) The final date for the communication of acceptance will be January 30th, 2013. If you do not receive it until this date, please contact CLAFQO-12 secretary (contact@clafqo12.com); 4) Payment of the conference registration as Early Bird will be accepted up to April 7th 2013 (first day of the conference) for participants from outside Brazil, paying in US dollars, in cash. Payments with credit cards or any other methods will be accepted only at the Standard rate. Participants from Brazil, will receive identical treatment, but payments will be in Brazilian currency (reais). 5) Please, note that as commented before, Brazil has a reciprocity policy concerning visas and for visitors from countries where visas are required, please contact your nearest Embassy, Consulate or local travel agency well in advance. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required. A formal Letter of Invitation will be supplied upon request, in order to help participants to raise travel funds or obtain a visa. Soon after February 15th, 2013, the final program and other important details will be available on the CLAFQO-12 website. We look forward to meet you in Foz do Iguaçu.
